Did you hear the news? WickedHoops has relocated to the beautiful Pacific Northwest… Portlandia! After almost 3 1/2 years of weekly hoopjams, fitness classes, performance, friends, and hoopmaking parties, we had to say a heavy “See Ya Later” to Prescott, Arizona. The transition has been difficult and I hope to begin to blog about it all. Stay tuned for updates.

Pyroklectic Fire Practice
Pyroklectic is Prescott’s premier fire performance troupe. We do public practices every thursday (except for the week of 4th Friday Art Walks- when we perform that friday and skip practice that thursday) in hopes of spreading our love of fire dancing. If you are interested in learning more about fire dancing, please come to one of our practices; introduce yourself and we can offer you some practice tools and basic instruction to start yourself off. Make Your Own Hoop Workshop
A fun and creative gift idea for your friends and family. Come custom design and make your own hula hoop. Homemade gifts are the best!
- Undecorated hula hoops of all sizes and weights
- Basic hoop tape instruction provided by AT of WickedHoops
- Choose from 30 different Sparkle, Glitter, Mirror & Prism tapes
- 60 different Gaffer’s and Vinyl tape colors and sizes
- Put up to 5 different color tapes on your hoop with any design you can imagine
Workshop begins promptly @ noon. I will help you pick out which size hoop works best for you (or whomever the hoop is for). Pick one hula hoop or a small pair of mini hoops. Choose up to 5 colors, including one “fancy” sparkle tape. See examples of different hoop designs, learn hoop taping basics… and enjoy creating your own custom hoop to take home.
$35 Early Registration $40 Walk-In workshop fee (includes hoop to take home)
Pre-Register by calling Michelle @ Prescott Parks & Rec Department (928) 777-1121 or walk-in and register the day of the workshop. Space is limited to the first 20 hoopmakers to register or show up.

HoopJam on the Square
Come join us for our FREE HoopJam on the square every Sunday afternoon. WickedHoops has proudly hosted this free community event for two and a half years, serving as a meeting place for all hoopers and their families and friends.
Practice hoops are provided for every jam and new hoops are for sale every week. We’ve got hoops, music, and a strong desire to share our hoop enthusiasm, new tricks and basic hoopdancing moves.

Pyroklectic Fire Show

Free HoopDance Fitness Class
I have added one more class to the Yavapai College Continuing Education class series- however, ANYONE AND EVERYONE is welcome to attend. This class will be held @ Granite Creek Park from 5:30-6:30 and will focus on adding doubles and mini-hoops to your fitness workout. Hoops will be provided and some new hoops will be available for purchase. Dress warm and comfy.

HoopDance Fitness Class @ Yavapai College
Remember hula hooping when you were a kid? Hooping is back – with a new twist! “HoopDance” is sweeping the country as the newest, most positive, radically fun way to exercise. Join us for a full body, yet low impact, cardio workout. Strengthen your core while toning hips, glutes, thighs and arms all while dancing, hooping and laughing away up to 600 calories an hour! Class is open to brand new hoopers through intermediate hoopers. Practice hoops provided. Optional: new hoops available for sale in class. Class held at Summer’s Dance Works, 843 Miller Valley Rd., Prescott.
